Cracked.com has a very funny list of six things that movie characters always seem to forget and The X-Files is well represented.
#6: Insisting that the Paranormal Doesn't Exist (Despite Dealing With It Daily) The victims: Ghostbusters II, Stargate SG-1, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, X-Files, Fringe
"How many aliens and lizard people did Agent Scully run across before she stopped rolling her eyes whenever Mulder suggested 'monsters' as the solution to the next case? Fifty? A hundred?"
#5: Forgetting that the Main Character is Always Right The victims: House, X-files, Fringe, Monk, Psych, Medium
"OK, so maybe we can forgive Scully for shaking her finger at Mulder every time he pins a murder on a banshee. Maybe it's just that she always hopes it's something mundane, so the ***damned report will be easy to fill out this time."
For more on The X-Files and to find out the remaining 4 things movie characters forget, head over to Cracked.com.

Gabe Rotter's new book, The Human Bobby, is in bookstores now and his recent signings in both Los Angeles and New York appear to have gone well! If you have read the book, head over to Amazon and leave a review. If you have not read the book, what are you waiting for? In addition, Gabe did an interview with The X-Files Lexicon so be sure to check that out as well as XFN's recent podcast with him!
Callum Keith Rennie is getting his own show. Shattered premiered last night on Canada's Global network and stars Rennie as a homicide detective with a multiple personality disorder. The article delves into what Rennie thinks about the new show, his producer credit and how he got the gig on Showtime's award winning Californication. Head over to the Winnipeg Free Press for more!
Check out a great theater article at Indyweek.com that talks about "I Want to Believe" being the mantra of many a theater goer and entertainer. A nice little X-Files mention along with it. |

If you've ever wondered who the best FBI Agent in the history of television is, then Starpulse.com has you covered. According to the website, Dana Scully is in fact the best FBI Agent in the history of TV, landing Gillian Anderson on Starpulse's list of former television stars they'd like to see back.
Hands down, Dana Scully was the best FBI agent in the history of TV. Together with David Duchovny they dusted off restricted cases in “The X-Files” and made the world want to believe in UFOs. Gillian was perfect as the skeptical red-haired Catholic who preferred to use logic and common sense when her partner Mulder got too carried away with alien theories and government conspiracies. We haven’t seen much of Gillian post-X-files, save for a few movies and theater plays. We need you back on the small screen stat.
To see who else made the Starpulse.com list, head over to their website. |

Vin Scully is returning for a 62nd season as the Los Angeles Dodgers' baseball announcer and Sports.gather.com felt it fitting to mention Dana Scully as well!
