Fans can expect to see I Want to Believe promoted on the small screen... 
As the release date of The X-Files: I Want to Believe draws ever closer, Twentieth Century Fox has launched an aggressive advertising campaign to promote the upcoming film. Not only do trailers abound on a variety of different networks, but fans can also expect to see other forms of promotion popping up on the small screen.
 In the coming weeks, Philes can expect to see the cast make appearances on a variety of talk shows, ranging from the syndicated morning show Regis and Kelly to late night shows like ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!. With nearly a dozen different appearances scheduled throughout the month of July, this may present a challenge for Philes who haven't yet mastered their TiVo's recommendation function, to say nothing of the fans who are keeping things old school with VCRs.  Some local television shows are even getting in on the action, such as Vancouver's Breakfast Television, which will be interviewing Marco Niccoli ("Christian Fearon") on July 23. The program is only available in the Vancouver area and runs from 7:30 A.M. until 10.  In addition to the standard fare of TV talk shows, fans can also tune in to the short promotional specials some cable channels are offering. On Monday, July 14, TNT will be airing an inside look at The X-Files: I Want to Believe during the 9:00 EDT premiere of The Closer. The Discovery Channel will air a sneak peak at the film on Tuesday, July 15, during the 9:00 EDT showing of The Deadliest Catch.  So, Philes, get ready, get set, and program the recording device of your choice!
